Yep. I has a shut-in character ~
She recently moved to the US from France and speaks broken English. She bonded immediately with Amèlie since she speaks fluent French, one of like two people in the town who do. She only leaves her house when it is completely necessary. For food (only on occasion, usually she has it delivered) and to go to school (only because the bus stop is ten feet from her front door).
